Excellent reviews from across the UK media, helped to create a very successful box office for the release and the film still has a healthy of run of bookings until the end of June.
LAURA is one of the indisputable classics of film noir. It is a delicious murder mystery with a superb, lean script that contains a plot full of twist and turns, which will leave viewers breathless. Its central premise - a detective falls in love with the woman whose murder he is investigating - is brilliantly realised by Otto Preminger and features a career-best performance from Gene Tierney, and excellent performance from Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb and Vincent Price. The stunning Oscar winning cinematography by Joseph LaShelle looks fantastic in this digitally re-mastered 2k encode.
The restored version of LAURA is available for theatrical distribution, and single screening/digital cinema bookings via Hollywood Classics, please contact us for further information.
